When I am driving in my car, singing along to some of my favorite songs, I often find myself not playing the part of the lead vocalist, but singing the backing vocals. I don’t do it all the time because it actually takes quite a lot of attention, and it challenges me in that I have to listen to the music quite differently. There are a few groups in particular that I love to listen to when I am trying to learn how to sing backup vocals.
